Introduction to Bridge
Supported Bridge Integrations
Integrations allow you to connect Bridge to other systems. You can use these integrations to send and receive information to and from Bridge. In some cases it is used to trigger workflows. Bridge supports integrations with the following systems:
Use Cases
Dynamic Dropdowns
Dropdown Setting
Available drop-down values are typically defined in the column properties
Column properties must be defined and updated manually
A reference to a list in another sheet is not a standard feature in Smartsheet

Enrichment of contact data
Problem:
Sarah works in Demand Generation and is unhappy with the conversion rate of the contact form on her website. She's concerned it might be because she's asking too many questions, but still needs the information from the form to score leads correctly.
The solution:
Bridge can automatically enrich new form submissions with additional background data (name, company, role, location) via an "enrichment service" without having to ask additional questions.
Allocation of Sales Leads
Problem:
MBFCorp receives many inbound sales leads. These must be assigned to the appropriate contact person for a follow-up. This could be for an existing customer, a potential strategic target, or to a regional sales representative. This is all done manually at the moment and it therefore leads to delays in responding to customer concerns.
The solution:
When a new lead is created, Bridge can automatically check against multiple different services (e.g. CRM, geocoding) and make decisions about the lead's routing, the existing customer, the strategic target or the geographic area.
Weather warning
Problem:
Megan works for a telecom company with thousands of mast installations which are spread across the United States. She is responsible for allocating work crews for maintenance tasks. She is often frustrated with teams unable to finish their work due to inclement weather.
The solution:
Megan now has a sheet that she can easily add locations to which will automatically update her on the weather for the next 7 days. All risks are shown via a dashboard and can be adjusted in advance and assigned to the team.
Acronym Finder
Problem:
New hires can often find new terms and acronyms confusing and understand this difficult. As companies grow, many terms change and evolve.
The solution:
Allow employees to easily search for acronyms via messaging. Simplify the request for additional information. This creates an independently growing knowledge base.
Translation
Problem:
Dave manages content localization for his company. He is responsible for managing the content translated into ten different languages and is constantly under great time pressure. He is looking for a solution that will enable him to work more efficiently.
The solution:
Automatic translations directly in a sheet. Allows for manual overrides if necessary.
